Are you an experienced electrician who knows your way around a commercial roof as well as a distribution board?

We are looking for a Solar PV Specialist to join our team and help drive the transition to renewable energy for our commercial clients.

The Role
We aren’t just looking for someone to “pull cable.” We need a technician who understands the nuances of large-scale commercial PV systems. You will be responsible for:
Installing and commissioning commercial-grade inverters and battery storage systems.
DC string wiring and AC integration into complex commercial switchgear.
Conducting solar system commissioning.
Fault-finding and maintenance on existing solar arrays.

What We’re Looking For Qualified Electrician:

Completed Apprenticeship (AM2) NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) + 18th Edition. Registered electrician gold card.
Solar Credentials: Completion of recognised Commercial Solar PV courses (e.g., City & Guilds 2399, BPEC, or LCL Awards).
Testing Prowess: Valid 2391 (Inspection & Testing) is highly preferred.
Safety First: Experience working at heights and a valid CSCS/ECS card.
Tech Savvy: Ability to use monitoring software (SolarEdge, SMA, Huawei, etc.) to verify system performance.
