As part of their net-zero strategy, Central Co-op partnered with us to deliver a 90 kWp solar solution at their Wildwood store, including a custom solar carport that transformed unused parking space into an energy asset. The installation now generates over 141,000 kWh annually, offsets 55 tonnes of CO₂, and enhances the customer experience with shade and shelter.
Sol PV Group delivered a 180 kWp rooftop solar system at CEVA Logistics’ Prologis site in Kettering, as part of Prologis’ global solar rollout. The system now generates 108 MWh of clean electricity each year, covering 27% of the site’s demand.
This installation reduces CEVA’s annual electricity bill by £22,000, with a payback period of just six years and a projected 20-year net benefit of £293,000. Environmentally, it prevents 21 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year, the equivalent of planting 960 trees.
We are extremely proud to continue our ongoing partnership with Marshalls PLC and have recently completed our second project at the Sittingbourne site. Marshalls appointed us to install the 250kW system last December after we successfully fulfilled the O & M for the first solar PV install at their Sandy site. We are currently collaborating on several other sites with the goal to get all Marshalls sites running with solar PV by 2024.
